Project Based Assessments (PBA)

District Policy According to Easton Area School District Policy 217, beginning with the Class of 2017, “students must achieve proficiency on the Keystone Examination in Biology, Algebra, and Literature, or successfully complete the Project Based Assessment in the respective content area.” 2018-2019 PBA Administration The Literature PBA will be administered to the student when English is scheduled. The teacher will monitor the student’s progress. The Biology PBA will be administered in the fall semester. Case managers are assigned to students for progress monitoring and grading purposes. These teachers are available throughout the school day in the Writing Lab and Library. The due dates are as follow: November 7 - 50% of S1 PBA must be completed. December 13 - 75% of S1 PBA must be completed. January 25 - 100% of S1 PBA must be completed. The Algebra PBA will be administered in the fall semester. Students who have already met the Biology and/or Literature Keystone requirement may begin the PBA in the fall semester.
